F&C boosts multi-manager team

F&C Investments has appointed Oliver Sonnbichler as a fund manager in its multi-manager team.

The appointment completes its team reshuffle since Dean Cheeseman became head of retail multi-management. He took over from Richard Philbin in April, after he left to join a new Axa-backed investment management business, Architas. New recruit Sonnbichler joins F&C from the financial services practice at Navigant Consulting. He was previously a member of the Private Wealth Management Asset Allocation Committee at Morgan Stanley. Sonnbichler was head of the third-party funds platform at Morgan Stanley Private Bank until 2007 and prior to that, head of equity fund research at UBS Private...
