SIML launches Global Emerging Markets Equity fund

Skandia Investment Management Ltd (SIML) has launched a new Global Emerging Markets Equity fund in response to demand from financial advisers.

The multi-manager fund is structured as an OEIC and will sit in the IMA Global Emerging Markets sector. The initial charge is 5%, the Annual Management Charge is 1.5% and the fund has an anticipated total expense ratio of 2.43%. The fund comprises five retail funds and one segregated mandate. Manager weightings at launch are: 19% - Lazard Emerging Markets Fund – fund manager James Donald. 19% - Schroder Global Emerging Markets Fund – fund manager Robert Davy. 18.6% - Hamon Asian Market Leaders Fund – fund manager Hugh Simon. 13.3% - Gartmore Latin America Fund – fund manager ...
