Skipton to cut rates next week

Skipton Building Society will cut interest rates on its fixed rate mortgage range on Monday 8 September.

The lowest rates are available for those that only need to borrow less than 75% of their property’s value. Two year fixed rates will be available from 5.89% at 90% LTV with fees of £990 for customers looking to purchase a new home. Remortgagers face slightly higher rates than purchasers, with 2-year fixes starting at 5.89% for 50% LTV, or 6.19% with 75% LTV. Fixed rates of between three years and ten years will have a flat rate of 5.69% for 60% LTV, or 5.85% for 75% LTV.
