ProShare games to fall under ifs programme

The Institute of Financial Services has plans to integrate the ProShare financial programme into two of its existing education structures after acquiring the service for the professional body.

A statement issued yesterday by the ifs says the new package, which includes a widely-known investment portfolio game played by 30,000 schoolchildren to help them understand how shares work, will be known as ifsProShare but will be expanded to help consumers and businesses learn more about the benefits of investing in equities.
