Advisers want equity release providers to supply them with a variety of marketing tools to help them access the market and provide good advice to their clients, according to Bridgewater Equity Release.
The firm says adviser feedback, during a series of equity release forums, indicates significant demand for marketing tools, especially among advisers new to the market. The forums were attended by experienced and new equity release advisers, as well as those thinking of entering the equity release area. The majority were seeking advice on the market, client attitudes and the role of equity release in financial planning.
