BNP Paribas launches protected OEIC range in UK

BNP Paribas has launched its Privalto range of capital-protected OEIC funds to UK advisers.

The group has already rolled out funds to European intermediaries but is now keen to break the UK market. Each fund will have a distinct investment theme and structure. However, all shares are protected at a pre-defined level and are backed by BNP Paribas bank (rated AA+). The funds will offer real liquidity with daily dealing at NAV, no exit fees and no bid-ask spread. The Privalto funds will be available on major fund supermarkets, life and pension platforms.
