Martin Currie appoints Asia fund manager

MARTIN Currie has appointed a new fund manager to its Asia and Global Emerging Markets team.

Latin American specialist, Antti Olkinuora, joins the Edinburgh-based investment management business from FIM Asset Management in Finland, where he was a partner in the company's successful emerging markets team and manager of the FIM Brazil fund. Olkinuora has over seven years' investment experience and will initially work on researching and recommending Latin American stocks for global emerging markets and global equity portfolios.
