OLD Mutual Asset Managers (OMAM) has hired a new European investment team to run the company's forthcoming European Equity long/short fund.
Graeme Gilchrist, a founding partner and portfolio manager at European equity long/short manager Cambrian Capital Management and also a former pan-European equity portfolio manager at Merrill Lynch, heads the team working alongside Graham Forster and Dorothee Deck. Forster joins from Deutsche Asset Management where he was a fund manager and a founding member of the Absolute Return Strategies group.
