Henderson targets growth in MM portfolio

HENDERSON Global Investors has increased its exposure to growth stocks within one of its multi-manager portfolios.

The company’s Independent Growth fund, headed by Bill McQuaker and Katy Gladstone, has upped its positions in a number of growth funds, as well as purchasing a new offering which derives returns from Taiwan. The iShares MSCI Taiwan ETF is a play on the global PC demand cycle, as the Taiwanese market is dominated by technology and financial stocks that have exposure to semiconductor manufacturers and other electronics companies.
