Henderson offshore launch targets 7pc yield

AN offshore closed-ended income fund aiming to deliver a minimum yield of 7pc has been launched by Henderson Global Investors.

The Henderson Diversified Income vehicle, domiciled in Jersey but listed in London, will be managed jointly by John Pattullo and Jenna Barnard. It will purchase secured loans, asset-backed securities and various bonds to achieve its yield. It will also have the option to go into derivative instruments in order to protect and enhance the fund’s income and total return.
