MORLEY has unveiled its new-look SRI team, with the appointment of fund manager Derek Lygo to run the SRI Long Short Cell of its Alternative Investment Strategy fund.
The news comes after Morley revealed it was also hiring Dr Steve Waygood, Chair of the UK Social Investment Forum, as head of SRI engagement. It has also appointed Claire Harrold from Citigroup as analyst on the team. Lygo was responsible at CQS for launching the company’s Absolute Return Equity fund and prior to that was head of UK equities at First State. He will replace Paul Udall who has left Morley to take up a job in Bermuda.
