Schroders set to launch fund with Asia focus

SCHRODERS is to launch Pacific Alpha Plus, an Asia-focused fund that will be managed by Matthew Dobbs.

The fund is scheduled for launch before the end of this year, and will be a new addition to the Schroders’ existing Alpha Plus range, which already consists of UK, European and Japanese vehicles. Dobbs currently runs the group’s Asia Pacific and Oriental Income funds. The fund will be launched as a Non-UCITS Retail Scheme (NURS), with Dobbs given reign to gear the portfolio.
