UK Dynamic and Global Absolute launches from Old Mutual

Old Mutual Asset Managers is launching a UK Dynamic Equity and Global Equity Absolute Return portfolio.

The UCITS III UK Dynamic Equity portfolio will be managed by Luke Kerr and will aim to employ the same approach as his current hedge fund using a focused long portfolio combined with short positions. Ideas will principally be sourced from UK equities outside the FTSE 100 and long positions will exhibit one or more of three attributes: the potential for sustained above average growth; profit upgrades; or a re-rating, with short positions exhibiting inverse characteristics.
