A plethora of deals designed to help pursue evaders hiding money offshore are set to be signed by finance ministers in Berlin tomorrow.
Ministers, including Germany's Peer Steinbrueck and France's Christine Lagarde, are expected to discuss the importance of maintaining pressure on those jurisdictions yet to comply to OECD standards of transparency and information sharing. Although every offshore jurisdiction has endorsed the OECD standards, there are concerns over when and whether it will be implemented by some territories, such as Panama.
