Investec launches Fixed Reserve account

Investec Bank (Channel Islands) has unveiled its Investec Fixed Reserve Account, offering a rate of 3% AER/gross.

The account provides a guaranteed fixed interest rate of 3% for the life of the deposit, which matures on 31 August 2010, as well as the flexibility of receiving interest monthly which can be paid away to a nominated account free of charge. With a minimum deposit of £50,000, savers must deposit funds before 28 August to secure the interest rate. Investec is a participant in the Guernsey Banking Deposit Compensation Scheme, so all individual private clients held in Guernsey are covered by the scheme up to £50,000.
