IMA chairman Robert Jenkins argues the reason for the roll-out of the EU regulation of the alternatives industry stems from a case of "mistaken identity".
According to Jenkins, some politicians may be confusing one part of the financial services industry with another and says it is "curious" how European politicians have targeted the investment management industry to roll-out a raft of regulations in response to the banking crisis.
