Women are more likely than men to make financial cutbacks to help them survive the recession, research suggests.
A study by Legal & General (L&G) assessed the actions of more than 4,000 Brits to see what actions they are taking to manage their budgets. While 60% of women said they are curbing their high street expenditure, just 47% of men said they are doing the same. Elsewhere, 56% of women and 41% of men are spending less on the weekly shop.
