Aberdeen Asset Management is soft closing its £952m Emerging Markets fund to both retail and institutional investors.
The firm says the move is in the best interest of existing clients as it wants to actively manage the growth of the product to ensure it remains capable of delivering performance. Aberdeen's decision follows a spell of strong performance which has seen it return over 75% year-to-date, against an IMA Global Emerging Market sector average of 71%.
