Which? launches financial advice helpline

Consumer watchdog Which? has launched a telephone helpline offering information and guidance on personal finance for its members.

The service, which began as a pilot last year, is now running full time with eight advisers, whom it says are trained to the same current required standard - QCF level three - as authorised financial advisers. It adds the service has already helped more than 3,000 members with personal finance issues, with queries relating to savings and investments proving the most popular, accounting for 30% and 15% of calls respectively. The helpline adds to the FSA's ‘Money made clear' website, which offers step-by-step guides, comparison tables and an over-the-phone advice service to members of...
