Scottish Provident has created 80 jobs as its underwriting functions revert back in house from a Capita contract.
The Glasgow based provider says the transfer was completed on February 1 and took place under TUPE regulations in consultation with the Unite union. Gordon Watson, operations director at Scottish Provident, said: "We're delighted to considerably strengthen our underwriting proposition. "The transfer of underwriting services forms part of the ongoing development of our protection offering and our business objectives for 2010."
