UK boiler room gang charged over $100m scam.

Seven people have been charged with conspiring to defraud investors through a series of alleged boiler room share scams.

Five men and two women are alleged to have defrauded UK investors in sham Spanish companies of more than $100m. Daniel Gooding, also know as Tresadern, Shaun Rumsey, Jon Emery, Philip Morris, Ian Hughes, Emma Farmer and Michelle Coleman are all due to appear at City of London Magistrates' Court on 19 March 2010. In September 2007, the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) launched an investigation into a set of share brokerage companies based in Spain between 2003 and 2007.
