Universal Provident Upgraded by AKG

Health insurer Universal Provident's AKG financial strength rating has been upgraded from ‘C' to ‘B-‘.

Dale Tranter, assistant underwriter at Universal Provident, commented ‘we are delighted with this development, which puts our rating on a par with several of our competitors. This should give advisers increased confidence in recommending us to their clients. We hope to increase our intermediary market share over the coming months and years.'
