Standard Life group strategy head McNamara departs

Paul McNamara, managing director of group strategy and corporate finance at Standard Life, has left the company.

McNamara, who joined Standard Life in February 2008, left at the end of March to pursue other opportunities. He joined from HBOS Financial Services, where he was marketing and distribution director. Prior to that, he was group strategy director for Axa UK. "Paul has made a significant contribution to the business in his two years here," a Standard Life spokesman says. "He leaves with our best wishes for the future."
