Buffett ups stake in Tesco

Investment guru Warren Buffett has raised his stake in Tesco to over 3%.

Buffett's investment firm Berkshire Hathaway has bought around two million shares in the retail giant, taking its stake to 242 million, or 3.02%. Earlier this month, Tesco CEO Sir Terry Leahy said he was stepping down from the company next March after 14 years at the helm. At 12.17pm, Tesco shares were up 0.76% to 399p.
