Aviva is now accepting faxed and emailed copies of application and claims forms for its international private medical insurance (IPMI) offering.
It is also creating an international sales team and is reducing the amount of members required for medical history disregarded underwriting from 15 to 10 members. The moves are part of a range of improvements being introducing by the provider which it says are designed to make it easier for intermediaries to do business with them. It is aiming to speed up both the application and claims processes by accepting faxed or emailed copies of the forms.
