Harris moves back into China after year-long absence

Henderson head of multi-manager Mark Harris has moved back into Chinese equities after almost a year away from the region.

Harris removed his exposure to China late last year on the belief valuations had become excessive, but he has recently started to dip back into the rapidly growing Asian economy. The manager - who runs the group's Active, Tactical, and Balanced MM funds - has added Chinese exposure through the long/short Henderson Horizon China vehicle. "I have avoided China ever since valuations appeared to be stretched too far in December 2009, but recently the market has started to look cheap once again," Harris said.
