BHSF launches GP helpline

BHSF is launching a 24-hour GP helpline for its cash plan clients which it hopes will fill the void left by the closure of NHS Direct.

The service will allow those with most of the provider's health cash plan policies to reach a fully qualified GP at the end of a phone line 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. The provider trialled the service with employer-sponsored products and said it was so successful it wanted to have the service widely available as quickly as possible.
