iShares and Goldman Sachs have unveiled fixed income and hedge fund replication ETFs on the German Stock Exchange Xetra.
The iShares Markit iBoxx Euro High Yield ETF is the first of its kind tradable on Xetra to invest in high-yield corporate bonds. The fund, which has attracted over €233m in net assets since launch on the London Stock Exchange in February, offers exposure to the largest and most liquid euro-denominated corporate bonds with sub-investment grade rating. Only bonds with a minimum amount outstanding of €250m are included, and the weight of each issuer in the index is capped at 5% in order to maintain diversification.
