Axa has amended its critical illness product and unveiled a client support service for all products within its protection account.
These are the first major protection product moves made by the provider following its purchase by Resolution and subsequent merger with Friends Provident. It is continuing the conditions race by making its cover for stroke ABI+ by removing the exclusion for traumatic injury to brain tissue or blood vessels, meaning it now has 10 ABI+ definitions, while adding open heart surgery to its conditions covered, taking that total to 38.
