IFAs sign up for Merchant's new risk profiler

Merchant Investors, part of Sanlam UK, has launched a risk profiling tool designed to give a more complete picture of a client's approach to risk.

Accel Client Risk Profiler consists of an advanced questionnaire which assesses a client's risk tolerance, goals and risk capacity before matching the results to a colour-coded scale to identify a suitable investment strategy. Intelligent Capital and another IFA firm, in addition to Sanlam subsidiary Buckles, have signed up for the tool. It was developed by Sanlam UK head of investment solutions Rick Eling in conjunction with Oxford University spin-off Oxford Risk.
