iShares has announced that its JP Morgan $ Emerging Market Bond fund has surpassed $1bn in assets.
The ETF offers access to sovereign and quasi-sovereign bonds, including both fixed and floating rate instruments, from more than 30 emerging market countries. It is one of iShares' highest yielding funds. The fund is now the fifth best performing European iShares product in terms of net new assets, having attracted yearly inflows of $700m as of 8 December. Leading the charge is the issuer's iShares MSCI Emerging Markets fund, which has raised over $1.7bn in assets year to date.
