Bright Grey extends three CI definitions to ABI+

Bright Grey has extended the definitions of three critical illnesses it covers.

The move makes Bright Grey the latest provider to take a step forward in the so-called ABI+ definitions competition for critical illness policies. It takes the total number of ABI+ definitions, ones that are above the ABI standard, to eight. The improved definitions are for: Coronary artery bypass grafts - the requirement of surgery to divide the breastbone has been removed; Heart valve replacement or repair - as above; Benign brain tumour - the requirement for permanent neurological deficit with persisting clinical symptoms will be waived if the benign brain tumour is surgic...
