Lyxor Asset Management is celebrating a decade in the ETF industry, having launched its Cac 40 fund on the Paris Stock Exchange in 2001.
Lyxor's ETFs have grown in assets under management (AUM) every year since the company's inaugural launch in January 2001, reaching an AUM of nearly $39bn by the end of 2010, according to BlackRock. The Cac 40 ETF, which tracks the performance of the 40 largest and most liquid securities on the Paris Stock Exchange, now has nearly €3bn in AUM and is part of a suite of over 160 different products spanning all major asset classes.
