Lloyds Banking Group has confirmed four of its intermediary sales bosses have been asked to reapply for their jobs following the closure of Cheltenham & Gloucester for Intermediaries in March.
Kevin Purvey, head of sales at Cheltenham & Gloucester and Scottish Widows Bank, Phil Rickards, head of sales at Birmingham Midshires and Ian Wilson, head of sales at Halifax, have all been asked to apply for their roles again. Head of national accounts Maria Harris must also reapply for her position. The streamlining move will result in the bank only operating two sales teams - Birmingham Midshires and Halifax - with the Halifax team caretaking the Scottish Widows brand.
