European equities expertise given an S&P upgrade

Global fund manager Standard Life Investments has been recognised by Standard & Poor's (S&P) for its growing expertise in managing European equities with an upgrade from ‘A' to ‘AA" of both its European Equities Unconstrained Fund (SICAV) and the European Smaller Companies Fund (SICAV).

And despite having been launched just two years ago, Standard Life Investments' European Equity Income Fund (OEIC) has been awarded an ‘A' rating. Standard Life Investments says recognition of its fund management expertise in managing European equities is overdue. Stan Pearson, Head of European Equities, says what's particularly pleasing about these upgrades "is the success we've had across three very different mandates - unconstrained, smaller companies and income - and throughout a period of both rising and falling markets."
