Following hard on the heels of signing tax agreements with Japan and Indonesia, the Isle of Man has announced a further strengthening of regulatory ties - this time with Slovenia.
Manx Treasury Minister, Anne Craine, has signed two agreements with the Republic, a Tax Information Exchange Agreement (TIEA) and a Double Taxation Treaty with respect to individuals. At the signing Minister Craine said, “Tax transparency and effective exchange of information are topics the Isle of Man takes very seriously, as the recent report by the OECD’s Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes shows.
