This year's paraplanner of the year award has been launched by The Paraplanner.com, in association with the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP).

Now in its fourth year, the award provides a platform for paraplanners to demonstrate their excellence. Based around a paraplanner's core skills, entrants will answer a number of technical questions and provide examples of written work. This will be supported by a reference from either an employer or client. There are two awards this year - an overall winner and a special technical award. As well as receiving the paraplanner of the year trophy, the overall winner gets a cash prize of £1,000, registration and hotel accommodation for the IFP annual conference (3-5 October) and access...
