The NHS Future Forum is to conduct a second stage of its listening exercise following a request by the government to assess its revised proposals.
It will focus on how to use information to improve public health, education and training for healthcare workers, integrating care and the public's health. The announcement has been applauded by The King's Fund, which said it would provide an opportunity to further examine some of the government's proposals. The initial report was published in June after a two month long consultation period which then saw the coalition revise its previous plans for the NHS.
