Bupa has been named as the official health insurance partner of UK Sport for the next two years, including the London Olympics.
The provider has supported the Athlete Medical Scheme (AMS) for nine years before making the commercial agreement alongside BAE Systems, British Airways and Maxinutrition. UK Sport's AMS, delivered in partnership with the English Institute of Sport, provides over 1200 of the UK's best athletes on the World Class Performance Programme with specialist medical treatment, when expertise outside of the day to day medical support is required.
