Following a Guernsey delegation of financial officials and practitioners to Mumbai, Guernsey Finance has signed a Tax Information Exchange Agreement (TIEA) with India - the island's 13th such agreement with a G20 member.
Peter Niven, Chief Executive of the Island’s promotional arm for the finance industry, Guernsey Finance, led the recent delegation to India and was joined by Jonathan Hooley, former senior tax partner at KPMG in the Channels Islands, and two senior directors from Legis Group - Stuart Platt-Ransom and John Morris.
