Artemis' Steer handed mandates on SIG's Best Ideas funds

Skandia Investment Group has awarded mandates on its UK Best Ideas and Global Best Ideas funds to Artemis' Global Growth manager Tim Steer.

Steer has been handed a mandate of £38m on Skandia Global Best Ideas and £24m on UK Best Ideas, taking over from Audrey Ryan at Kames Capital. Steer, who also runs a long/short best ideas mandate within the Skandia UK Strategic Best Ideas fund, now accounts for 16.66% of UK Best Ideas and forms part of the 50% UK allocation on Global Best Ideas.
