The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is meeting an IFA to hear his concerns over claims management companies (CMC) after he said they were unfairly targeting adviser firms.
The MoJ's claims management regulation unit is to meet with Adviser Alliance founder Alan Lakey. Lakey had written to secretary of state for justice Kenneth Clarke complaining the MoJ is failing to protect advisers from false CMC claims.
