Standard Life to run Danish corporate bond portfolio

Standard Life Investments (SLI), has been appointment by Danish financial services company Nykredit to manage an €80m and growing segregated European corporate bond portfolio.

Heading up the corporate bond team is lead manager Craig MacDonald, Head of SLI's Investment Grade - Corporate Bonds, who comes to the job with over 15 years experience in this asset class. SLI confirms that the Nykredit portfolio will be run in a similar fashion to its European Corporate Bond Fund SICAV which was launched in September 2003. SLI quotes Morningstar's ratings that the fund has produced top quartile performance over five years and since inception, adding that it has also "outperformed its benchmark, the iBoxx European Corporate Bond Index, over the same time periods." ...
