Axa cuts 70 adviser jobs at Yorkshire and Clydesdale

Axa Bancassurance is to cut 70 adviser roles at Yorkshire and Clydesdale banks.

Staff were told news of the job cuts this morning, with the roles being cut at Yorkshire and Clydesdale branches in northern England and Scotland. Axa Bancassurance is the arm of Axa responsible for growing its share of business generated by banks and building societies via strategic partnerships. It entered into a partnership with Clydesdale and Yorkshire in 2008 which sees Axa control investment and protection advice.
