Muirhead appointed to chairman of SIFA

Ian Muirhead, previously managing director of SIFA has been promoted to chairman of the group.

Legal affairs director at the group, Stuart Bushell, has taken on the role of managing director. Muirhead will take over from Matt Timmins, managing director of support services firm SimplyBiz who had been chairing the business on a part-time basis. Simplybiz acquired SIFA a year ago. Timmins said he believes the business requires the focus and dedication of a full-time chairman.
