Advisers fail to see how small pot plan will work Almost 40% of advisers believe the government's introduction of automatic transfers for small pensions was right but remain unsure how it will work in practice, a poll has found. Research from technology provider Avelo found the majority of advisers backed the Department for Work and Pensions' move to introduce a system of ‘pot follows member', which automatically transfers pension savings as people move jobs.
