The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has charged a trader with seven offences, including fraud and forgery, relating to an unauthorised investment scheme he operated.
Benjamin Edward Weymouth Wilson, trading as SureInvestment, operated a scheme that purported to carry out futures trading for the benefit of its investors, according to the regulator. The charges follow searches of two premises in Poole owned or controlled by Wilson that were conducted by the FSA with the assistance of the Dorset Police on 28 June 2011, when he was arrested.
