Six senior politicians join ERC board

The Equity Release Council (ERC) has appointed six senior politicians to its new Advisory Board as part of an on-going development programme.

The members are: Lord David Lipsey, Lord Michael German, Lord Richard Best, Eric Ollerenshaw MP, Heather Wheeler MP, and Laurie Edmans CBE, former Chairman of SHIP. ERC director general Andrea Rozario said: "We are very pleased to welcome several senior politicians to our Advisory Board as their support not only shows that equity release has climbed up the political agenda but also demonstrates a turnaround in views of equity release.
