The Serious Fraud Office has urged the self-invested personal pensions industry to report unusual activity in the fight against fraud.
Speaking at an Association of Member Directed Pension Schemes (AMPS) compliance workshop, Paul Craig, head of external relations at the SFO said: "We need you as an industry to engage with us." He revealed the SFO has set up a pension liberation working group with representatives from the DWP, TPAS, FSA and HMRC and had met on "several" occasions.
