Royal London replaces finance director

Stephen Shone, finance director at Royal London, is to step down from the role and be replaced by Kerr Luscombe.

Shone, 55, has been in the position for 14 years. He will step down on 31 December. However, he will continue to lead the group's acquisition of the Co-operative Banking Group's life insurance and asset management businesses until it is concluded. Kerr Luscombe will take on the group finance director's role in addition to his responsibilities as group strategy director. He will start on 1 January.
